Tottenham midfielder Jake Livermore is hoping to use the Europa League as a chance to show Harry Redknapp he deserves a chance in the Premier League.
The 21-year-old will not be loaned out this season and is expected to face Hearts this month.
“I’m hoping the Europa League can be a little shop window for me where I can get some games and show the manager what I can do,” Livermore, who made a second-half substitute appearance against Athletic Bilbao on Saturday, said.
“Hopefully from there I can start getting some Premier League starts and cement a place.”
