“Llorente is almost like playing with ten men” – Some Spurs fans aren’t pleased with the striker

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have once again not been impressed by the performance of Fernando Llorente.

Mauricio Pochettino kept his faith in the 33-year-old striker by naming him in the Spurs starting eleven for this evening’s match against Chelsea, despite his horror showing at Fulham on Sunday.

It took Llorente just 50 seconds to lose possession during the second leg when he miscontrolled the ball which nearly led to Chelsea taking the lead and he hasn’t offered much in terms of progress since then.

While it is easy to try and scapegoat the Spaniard, Spurs have not been at the races during the first half which has seen them go behind 2-0 at Stamford Bridge and 2-1 on aggregate.

To say that Spurs need a spark would be an understatement, they are creating very little in the attacking third of the pitch.

Here’s a selection of reaction from some Spurs fans.
