Former Tottenham Hotspur chairman Lord Sugar has taken to Twitter following Liverpool’s victory against Barcelona which has secured them a place in the final of the Champions League.
In true Sugar style, he has gone on the wind up by claiming that Liverpool’s efforts are pointless as it will be Tottenham who will be lifting the famous trophy come the final on June 1st in Madrid.
Sugar has certainly put himself out there for some retribution considering that Spurs are already 1-0 down from the first leg against Ajax and will be looking to put in a performance with the same spirit of what Jurgen Klopp’s side showed at Anfield last night if they are to meet their Premier League rivals in the final.
Tottenham have never made it through to the final of the competition and it is now down to the players to etch their names in lilywhite history.
