Former Tottenham Hotspur chairman Lord Sugar has taken to Twitter to gather the thoughts of supporters on a potential transfer.

Sugar asked fans for their thoughts on the potential scenario of a Gareth Bale return to North London and who would make way in the starting line up for the Welsh wizard.

Bale’s future in Spain has been the subject of intense speculation since the beginning of the season.

Spanish news outlet AS (as reported by Sky Sports) have claimed that Zinedine Zidane wants to sell Bale during the summer but will have to persuade the club’s highest-paid player to move on.

Bale is said to earn an astonishing £650,000 a week with the La Liga giants (Daily Star) which is light years away from what the current crop of stars at Spurs currently earn.

The 29-year-old came to prominence during his spell at Spurs where he dazzled during his displays at White Hart Lane and notably in the Champions League which earned him a move to the Bernabeu in 2013.

Does Lord Sugar know something we don’t?
