Lord Sugar mocks Arsenal and Piers Morgan over Europa League involvement

Lord Sugar has taken to Twitter to mock Piers Morgan after Tottenham Hotspur booked their place in the Champions League final for the first time in the club’s history.

Morgan, who is known for his outspoken support of Arsenal and his hatred of Tottenham on social media was posting during the match and was lending his support for opponents Ajax.

When Ajax went 2-0 ahead before half time which gave them a 3-0 aggregate advantage over Spurs, Morgan sent a Tweet to Sugar asking if he was OK to try and wind up the former lilywhites chairman.

However, Sugar had the last laugh when Lucas Moura proved to be Tottenham’s hero with a stunning second half hat-trick to complete the comeback and saw Mauricio Pochettino’s progress to the final where they will take on Liverpool in Madrid on June 1st.

Sugar also couldn’t resist a dig at Arsenal’s involvement in the Europa League.

So often over the years, Tottenham have been the laughing stock or the ‘bottlers’ and those who hold the club close to their heart are certainly enjoying the Champions League limelight.
