Lord Sugar has wasted no time in mocking Arsenal fan Piers Morgan following their 3-1 defeat to Manchester City.
Sergio Aguero’s hat-trick at the Etihad Stadium took City back above Tottenham Hotspur into second place in the Premier League to renew their two-point advantage over Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
The defeat for Arsenal means that they are now ten points behind their North London rivals, having both played the same number of matches.
Tottenham could finish above Arsenal in the table for the third successive season as the power shift between the rivals continues. While Spurs will soon be doing battle against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, Arsenal will be playing BATE Borisov in the Europa League.
Unai Emery’s side look set for another season of sub-standard European football if things continue.
Former Spurs chairman, Lord Sugar mocked Arsenal’s situation by suggesting that Morgan needs a periscope to find Tottenham such is the points difference.
I was thinking of buying you a periscope as you are 10 points below Spurs to look up to a good team https://t.co/VrMH4YBJpm
