Former Tottenham Hotspur chairman Lord Sugar wasted no time in mocking Arsenal supporting Piers Morgan after the club’s historic result last night.

Sugar took to Twitter to ask the shamed former editor of the Daily Mirror if he had been watching Tottenham book their place in the semi final of the Champions League after winning on away goals.

It was a dramatic night at the Etihad in which Morgan had been Tweeting his delight at Manchester City’s attempts to knock Spurs out of Europe, but it was Sugar who had the last laugh when Raheem Sterling’s injury time goal was ruled offside following a VAR review to break the hearts of the City fans, along with Morgan and the watching Arsenal supporters.

While Spurs face Ajax in the last four of Europe’s most prestigious competition, Arsenal continue to play their football in the lesser Europa League.

Here’s what Sugar said on Twitter.
