Lord Sugar took to Twitter to express his frustration following Tottenham Hotspur’s 2-1 disappointing defeat against Southampton.

It was a complete contrast of two halves of football with Spurs dominating the first half and could have easily have been 3-0 ahead, but could only manage a single goal through Harry Kane.

After the break, Spurs were second best and poor defending gifted the Saints a route back into the game. Mauricio Pochettino’s side took their foot off the pedal and it has proven to have cost them dearly.

Tottenham’s failure to get anything from the match has given them a battle on their hands to secure Champions League football for next season.

Their recent form in the Premier League has been abysmal after only picking up one point from a maximum
twelve available and now have to wait three weeks until they are next back in action with a trip to Liverpool on March 31st.

Here’s what Lord Sugar had to say on Twitter.
