Lord Sugar has taken to Twitter to react after Tottenham Hotspur went 2-0 down against Brighton in the Premier League.

Spurs fans were looking for their side to bounce back from Tuesday night’s humiliation at the hands of Bayern Munich but have once again had to endure a painful 45 minutes from their players.

Hugo Lloris, for the second top flight game in a row gifted the opposition a goal when he tried to keep out a cross when it would have been easier to palm it over the crossbar and paid dearly for his mistake when he suffered a nasty arm injury that saw him stretchered off.

Spurs’ problems were doubled when Aaron Connolly scored after 32 minutes following some slack goalkeeping from Lloris replacement, Paulo Gazzaniga allowed the 19-year-old to tap home the rebound.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have rarely threatened the goal of Matthew Ryan and their long wait for an away win looks set to continue.

  1. That is the worst 45 minutes of football by a spurs team I have witnessed in over forty years of watching them. The manager and too many of the team don’t care I would fine them all one million pound each including poch and his squad and donate it to children’s cancer suffers.

  2. What’s going wrong with our team? There’s definitely a crisis. Is this roumour regarding Eriksen and Vertongen true? If so they both should be dropped and moved on in January window. Give the young kids a go, surely they can’t be worse.
Bring back Trips, Defoe Llorente, Jennings, Klinsmann etc.

  3. I am appalled once again at our performance against Brighton.
We are playing like a non league club of the lowest standard. The players have lost interest and it seems like we are descending down the premier league table at a rapid rate. We are going to lose what remains of some of our good players and the bad ones must be thrown out as well. It leaves us in
a humiliating position as if we are like a badly wounded animal waiting to die.Heaven knows wat will happen next.
I have been watching spurs for sixty years and have witnessed some bad times. Poch had turned us into a very different team but now I do not know what else to say.

  4. I do not know what we are expecting from our team. Over the summer period we were talking about the players that we wanted to sell. ie we wanted rid of them. but We had no preparation, we still had not bought any replacement for them. The players we wanted to sell we are still using like Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Eriksen, Rose, Dier, added to them there should be LLoris. He has not been the Goalkeeper we purchased to replace Friedel who in my eyes was still better than Lloris. I seem to think that Lloris is still suffering from the effect of his driving under the influence. Is he by any chance still maybe suffering from the alcohol he consumed on that occasion. he has become a liability. During the next period we teams are allowed to purchase players please do so without all the messing about while trying to make a deal. NO LAST MINUET closing of contracts allow yourselves time to do the job properly
then think of selling the players you do not want. PLEASE Eriksen out first he has no respect and will to play for us.. Mr Levi buy the players the manager wants not the ones you want You are chairman not team manager.
