Lord Sugar takes to Twitter after Spurs go 2-0 down against Brighton

Lord Sugar has taken to Twitter to react after Tottenham Hotspur went 2-0 down against Brighton in the Premier League.

Spurs fans were looking for their side to bounce back from Tuesday night’s humiliation at the hands of Bayern Munich but have once again had to endure a painful 45 minutes from their players.

Hugo Lloris, for the second top flight game in a row gifted the opposition a goal when he tried to keep out a cross when it would have been easier to palm it over the crossbar and paid dearly for his mistake when he suffered a nasty arm injury that saw him stretchered off.

Spurs’ problems were doubled when Aaron Connolly scored after 32 minutes following some slack goalkeeping from Lloris replacement, Paulo Gazzaniga allowed the 19-year-old to tap home the rebound.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have rarely threatened the goal of Matthew Ryan and their long wait for an away win looks set to continue.
