Photos of a concept design of Tottenham Hotspur’s potential home shirt for next season has done the rounds on social media today with many Spurs fans going into frenzy about the potential of such a kit.
The design is based on the iconic Hummel home shirt from 1986 and has fans feeling a glint of nostalgia.
While it may be no more than a concept design, it is light years ahead of the current Nike ‘template’ kits which we have been wearing for the past couple of years along with what feels like half of Europe.
I’m really liking this concept ? very like the Hummel kit from the mid 80’s. It’s more than likely fake though, as we all know the AIA will be red on the home shirt ?
The Nike logo looks sick too ?? pic.twitter.com/lJMYLa86H7

Spurs are currently in the second year of what is a staggering fifteen year agreement with the US-based company and is worth £30million a year to Daniel Levy (The Sun).
Prior to the current kit deal, Spurs had teamed up with Under Armour between 2012/13 and 2016/17.
Here’s how some Spurs fans have reacted on social media.
That's sick! Would love that apparently Nike are going with retro style kits this season

That's so damn amazing. Best Tottenham concept kit I've ever seen

I like the Nike kits BUT their lazy template strategy is really poor. Especially when u look at clubs like Chelsea and a lot of their gear (training tops etc) are exactly the same a ours even down to the colours.
