Five memorable Spurs v Arsenal matches

In the Premier League era, Tottenham Hotspur haven’t had many memorable days to remember in the North London derby. However with the tide starting to turn, we’ve put together a quick snapshot of five memorable Tottenham victories against Arsenal.

Last season was the first time Tottenham had finished above our hated rivals in the league in 22 years and something tells me that under boss Mauricio Pochettino, this won’t be a flash in the pan.

One stat that sticks in my mind ahead of Saturday is the fact that Tottenham have won only two of their last 32 away league visits to face Arsenal. There’ll always be that ‘Spursy’ paranoia sticking in my mind after so many years of mediocrity.

Take a look below at our top five Spurs matches against Arsenal in recent memory.

This was the 174th North London derby, the 156th in the league. A stunning second goal from Harry Kane from outside the box with just four minutes left ensured that all three points remained at the Lane.
