Michael Owen on who will win between Spurs and Leicester

Michael Owen has shared his thoughts on the outcome of Tottenham Hotspur’s clash against Leicester.

Tottenham will be looking to complete the double over the Foxes when they visit Wembley Stadium tomorrow afternoon.

Victory for Mauricio Pochettino’s side will keep them in touching distance of Manchester City and Liverpool in the race for the Premier League title.

Spurs will be without five players for the fixture with Vincent Janssen, Eric Dier, Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Ben Davies.

Sunday’s haven’t been too kind to Spurs, they have lost three of their five Sunday Premier League games this season (W2), including their only previous one at home so far (0-1 vs Manchester United).

Claude Puel’s Leicester are experiencing a poor run of form, having only won one of their last six matches in the top flight.

Spurs fans will be hoping that their side don’t leave it late once again, having won their last three Premier League games thanks to goals scored in the final 10 minutes of games.

Owen has tipped Spurs to notch up another win and pile the misery on Leicester.

He told BetVictor: “Leicester have taken points off both City and Liverpool in recent weeks, but I feel Spurs will maintain their title challenge with another valuable three home points against the Foxes.

“Spurs have coped well with their recent injury problems gaining narrow wins courtesy of late winners against Fulham, Watford and Newcastle without impressing, but this is a period of the season when results are everything and I think Mauricio Pochettino’s side will maintain their title challenge – if only just.”
