Michael Owen on who will win between Spurs and West Ham

Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen has shared his prediction ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s match against West Ham United.

David Moyes’ side come into the match in good form having won their last two Premier League games against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City by an aggregate score of 7-0.

Heading into this weekend, no player has scored more Premier League goals this season than Heung-min Son (6). However, all of the South Korean’s goals so far this campaign have come away from home.

Tottenham are winless at home so far in the Premier League this season (D1 L1), scoring just once and conceding twice. This is a stark comparison to their away form, which has seen them win both games by an aggregate score of 11-3.

Owen believes that it will be a case of the London bragging rights shared between both clubs, who will play out a score draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

He told BetVictor: “Both clubs go into the London Derby off the back of huge away wins in the Premier League. I think this will be close. When they put it all together, West Ham are a dangerous side. Spurs will have to be cautious of getting hit on the break and I could see both scoring here with a draw the most likely result.”
