Mido posts photo of himself and shamed former Spur

Mido has taken to Twitter to post a photo of him and former Tottenham Hotspur team mate Hossam Ghaly.

Tottenham signed Ghaly from Feyenoord in January 2006 and penned a four year deal.

His Spurs career came to an abrupt end when he was substituted by Martin Jol against Blackburn in May 2007. The midfielder reacted by throwing his Spurs shirt to the ground.

He was immediately booed, jeered and verbally abused by the White Hart Lane faithful for disrespecting the shirt.

Ghaly was set for a move to Birmingham City but the deal fell through when then Blues manager Steve Bruce criticised his attitude.

However Ghaly instead claimed the Birmingham players lacked ambition and were only discussing how to avoid relegation.

After a loan spell at Derby, He did eventually leave Spurs. Saudi side Al-Nassr were the club to finally take him away from N17.

He went on to also have spells with Al-Ahly and Lierse before deciding to retire in May of this year, aged 36.
