More seats continue to be installed at the new Spurs stadium

Tottenham Hotspur have revealed that more seats have been installed at the new stadium, today.

The first batch of seats were added to the 62,000 seater stadium last week and work has continued to fit more of the new blue seats into position.

A Tweet on the official Spurs site included some photos to show how work is progressing

The £850million development is reaching a critical stage following the completion of the roof lift and the club announced earlier today that the housing for the giant LED video screens in the south stand has been finished.

It remains to be seen if the club will ask the Premier League for permission to play the first few matches of next season in August and early September away from home, should work overrun.

One match which the club will be required to be open for is the American Football encounter on October 14 when the Seattle Seahawks play the Oakland Raiders in the NFL.
