Jose Mourinho has played down speculation linking Emmanuel Adebayor with a return to Real Madrid.
The out of favour Manchester City striker has been heavily linked with a loan move to Tottenham Hotspur and the player has even publically stated an interest in a move to White Hart Lane in the past.
The 27-year-old watched from the stands as Madrid beat Leicester City 2-1 in Saturday’s pre-season friendly at the King Power Stadium.
