Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to react to the team news announcement for this evening’s match against Liverpool.

With fourth place Chelsea on course to extend their advantage over Spurs in the Premier League table to nine points, the North Londoners are seriously at risk of missing out on Champions League
qualification.

Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho has given academy central defender Japhet Tanganga his full Premier League debut against the champions elect with Jan Vertonghen dropping down to the bench, while there is a start at left back for Danny Rose.

Liverpool are unbeaten in their last eight Premier League games in London (W5 D3), winning the last three in a row. The Reds haven’t won four consecutive league games in the capital since October 1989.

Tottenham have won just two of their last 12 games in which Harry Kane has played no part (D4 L6), failing to win any of their four such matches this campaign(D3 L1).

Here’s what some of the supporters had to say.
