Tottenham Hotspur fans have been taking to social media following the news that Harry Kane has signed a new six-year contract with the club.

The England captain has committed his future to Spurs ahead of the World Cup after scoring an amazing 41 goals in 48 appearances for the north Londoners last season.

Kane’s previous deal was due to expire in 2022 and has been rewarded for his remarkable goalscoring record with a deal which will run until 2024.

The forward has always said that he is happy to remain at Tottenham as long as the club continues to match his ambition, so it can only mean good things for Spurs fans reading between the lines.

Repots suggest that Kane will double his previous £100,000 a week salary, making him one of the best-paid players in the Premier League.   The news is not only huge for Kane signing a new deal, but it also increases the ceiling on the current wage structure at the club.

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. This is all fake news. Don Balon told me that
    1. Harry Kane is coming to Real Madrid
    2. He has already chosen his shirt number at Real
    3. As part of the deal HK insisted that Poch becomes coach.
    4. That Poch wants to join Real Madrid.
    5. That Daniel Levy is a poodle who likes his tummy tickled.

On the other hand all of the above rumours have been spread by Don Balon and Marca. Will the children who regurgitate this twaddle from such imaginative and unreliable sources please note; they were wrong!

The future is bright, the future is blue and white!!!
