NBA hall of famer posts one-word Tweet following Tottenham’s win at Everton

Tottenham Hotspur’s 6-2 humiliation of Everton was broadcast live across the world on earlier today and there were some famous supporters watching on.

Across the pond in the United States, basketball hall of famer Steve Nash took to Twitter to put just one word to sum up the victory at Goodison Park.

Nash, who is regarded as one of the best ever basketball players to play in the NBA, he is an eight-time NBA All-Star and a seven-time All-NBA selection. Twice, Nash was named the NBA Most Valuable Player while playing for the Phoenix Suns

He is a life-long Spurs fan whose father was born in Tottenham and his grandfather also supported the club, Nash was a regular at White Hart Lane as a youngster with his father and granddad before his family decided to move to Canada.

Tottenham’s star striker Harry Kane, who scored a brace of goals in the victory was the subject of Nash’s attention as he kept his social media post short and sweet.

Some may think, so what? But for such a high-profile sportsman to recognise another’s efforts will certainly sit well with Kane.
