Whilst there has been plenty of speculation linking both Danny Rose and Toby Alderweireld with moves away from Tottenham Hotspur, no bids have been received by the club according to talkSPORT.
With the summer transfer window still open in Europe until August 31st, the likes of PSG and Bayern Munich have both been credited with interest in the defensive pair.
Rose has also been linked with a move to Bundesliga outfit Schalke, but is said to prefer a switch to the money-rich Parisians.
Many had expected Toby Alderweireld to make the move to Manchester United before the English deadline on August 9th, but remained a Spur and returned to the starting line-up for Saturday’s win against Fulham at Wembley. Rose was named among the substitutes for the match.
While others in the squad are being tipped with a Spurs exit, notably Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, the vast majority of Spurs fans will be hoping that both Alderweireld and Rose are still at Hotspur Way come September 1st.
talkSPORT presenter Jim White, who also fronts Sky Sports’ transfer deadline day and is known for his claims that he has ‘sources’ said: “Anyone who thinks this morning that with the European [transfer] deadline still to close there will be outgoing sales, ‘we’re damn sure they’re trying to sell some players’. I’m told this morning there are no offers on the table at Tottenham to be considered either for Danny Rose or for Toby Alderweireld.”
