Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has revealed that there has been no offers made for Wilfried Zaha.

The winger has been heavily linked with moves to both Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea over the course of the summer, but nothing has materialised.

Parish says that it would be a ‘ridiculous point to do it’ if the Eagles were to consider an offer at this late stage of the transfer window.

Zaha is rumoured to be wanting to test himself at a bigger club and play Champions League football, but with four years left on his current contract they are valuing the player at around £75million.  He is said to earn around £100,000 a week at Selhurst Park and has rejected an improved offer.

Speaking on The Debate on Sky Sports last night, Parish said: “It would be a ridiculous point to do it, wouldn’t it?

“I mean to go the whole transfer window and only think about it now to come in with a bid would be ridiculous.”

  1. GET HIM. We will have a better chance to win silverware this year with him in the squad. Jack also if you please. Do NOT let Toby go to United if they won’t give us Martial or Rashford. Bale I think we have no chance now that Ronaldo has left. What about Sessegnon or Shaw ? Time is running out that’s for sure.

  2. We Spurs supporters know full well that the building of a new stadium cost an arm & a leg infect we are told £1,000,000,000,000 a hell of a huge amount Joe Lewis carries that around in his pocket as spare change , in the days of the old WHL glory glory days and after we bought W/ C players by the bucket load ie should be Sir Jimmy Greaves , Dave Mckay , Danny Blanchflower , Martin Chivers , Martin Peters , Alan Gilzean , Pat Jennings , Cliff Jones , etc etc etc now we all know the transfer fees were not as huge as they are to-day but never the less of their day and the value of the pound was massive to the club and never a whimper from the Spurs Owners and directors who only bought the very best W / Class players & now we won`t or can`t compete with the big boys this has got to be down to the smart alex`s of the Spurs club who think they are clever and better abled to run a EPL club .
