“No holding back” – Some fans react to the Spurs team vs Crystal Palace

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to the team selection for this afternoon’s match against Crystal Palace.

Palace have only won two of their past nine home fixtures and are on a 17-match winless home run against established top-six opposition in the Premier League.

Spurs fans will be looking to Heung-min Son and Harry Kane to continue their lethal partnership having combined for 11 of Tottenham’s 23 Premier League goals in 2020-21.

20 of Tottenham’s last 25 Premier League goals against Crystal Palace have been scored in the second half of games. However, all five of their strikes against them last season came in the opening 45 minutes.

Dele Alli is named among the substitutes and is included in a Premier League squad for the first time since the 6-1 victory against Manchester United to months ago.

Tanguy Ndombele gets the nod in midfield over Giovani Lo Celso who impressed in midweek against Antwerp, while there is no place in the squad for Gareth Bale.
