“No Parrott, no party” – Some Spurs fans react to the team vs Bayern Munich

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social media to react to Jose Mourinho’s team selection for this evening’s match against Bayern Munich.

Mourinho has handed a first Champions League start to Ryan Sessegnon, while there are also places in the starting eleven for Kyle Walker-Peters and Juan Foyth in defence, while Giovani Lo Celso is named in the team.

Somewhat frustratingly, the highly-rated academy pair of Troy Parrott and Japhet Tanganga are only named among the substitutes alongside the in-form Heung-min Son.

In comparison, Bayern have named a very strong side which contains Serge Gnabry, who scored four goals in North London during the 7-2 thrashing earlier in the campaign.

Even with top striker Robert Lewandowski named on the bench, there are still big names in the starting eleven for the German giants including Manuel Neuer, Jerome Boateng, Ivan Perisic and Benjamin Pavard.
