Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Josh Onomah has come in for criticism from some Fulham supporters.
The 22-year-old was named in the Fulham starting eleven for their Championship match against Leeds United this afternoon.
Onomah left Spurs in August after making made 32 senior appearances and scoring one goal.
His inclusion in Scott Parker’s team saw some pockets of the Craven Cottage support take to social media to vent their frustration at their manager’s decision.
Prior to the Leeds match, Onomah had made fifteen appearances for Fulham in all competitions and has found the back of the net on one occasion (transfermarkt).
Onomah found himself out of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans in North London and had been the subject of interest from a number of clubs in Germany prior to completing his move to Fulham (The Sun).
Here’s a selection of what some Fulham fans have been saying on the social media platform.
Guys you forgot to take onomah out…

Onomah has kidnapped Scott Parker’s kids and potentially Harry Arter

Johansen dropped and the useless Onomah continues to start. No words anymore.

well done parker, take out johansen whose arguably been our best player last couple weeks, over onomah, whose arguably been one of our worse

Looking at the lineup gives me so little confidence because of Onomah being selected each and every week. Now, he’s being selected over Stef Jo, one of the more consistent players.

I'm convinced that Parker only starts Onomah because of the AJ Tracey bar from "False 9".
