Tottenham Hotspur kept their Champions League qualification hopes alive with a 1-0 win against Inter Milan at Wembley.

It was a nervy affair between the sides, with Inter only needing a draw to confirm their place in the knockout stages of the competition, but it was Christian Eriksen who spoilt the Italian’s part.

A superb driving run into the Inter penalty area from man of the moment Moussa Dembele was the catalyst for the goal with the Frenchman finding Dele Alli who in turn laid it off to Eriksen to dink the ball into the back of the net.

Spurs must equal Inter’s result in the last game of the round. Mauricio Pochettino’s side are away to Barcelona, while Inter are at home to PSV.
