Pav wants changes at Spurs

Roman Pavlyuchenko - Tottenham Hotspur News

Roman Pavlyuchenko has reiterated his desire for “changes” in his situation at Spurs.

The Russian striker has found himself only featuring in the Europa League and Carling Cup this season as he is behind Van der Vaart, Adebayor and Defoe in the striking pecking order.

Pav is now getting worried about the lack of first team football ahead of Euro 2012 and does not want to risk any chance of missing out on the tournament due to the lack of action.

He told sovsport.ru: “I want changes.

“My new situation is not simple at the moment. We’re getting very close to the European Championship. I have to make a decision.”

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. He’s going if a decent offer comes in (which it will) ,end of . Stop moaning we are doing well , your getting paid , put what little effort you have into getting yourself in the shop window on the pitch . Whining doesn’t help anyone.

  2. This just show why we drew 14 games last season stupid comments like we have on here Pav is right because Ady was not very good against Blackburn but Harry is scared of subbing him and Van because they react. We could need both Defoe and Pav in future games yeta Harry keeps them idle bringing Defoe on in the 88 min was a backward and stupid decision when we where under attack Townsend would have bean my call hauled Benny off and move Bale back in defence then off with van and on with Defoe the problem with Harry Van scored twice and was on a hatrick we got lucky this time 4411 is hearstopping and not how i want my team too play every week.

  3. THE BIG GUY IS A LAZY BIG SOD FOR A BIG GUY HE CAN`T OUT JUMP ANYBODY IF YOU WATCH WHICH WAY HE APPROACHES A BALL IN MID AIR YOU KNOW FULL WELL HIS CHALLENGE HAS NO CHANCE , HIS FIRST TOUCH IS WOEFUL HE NEEDS TO GET LESSONS FROM ADEBYOR , A NEW STRIKER 2 DEFENDERS AND FLOGG THE RUSSIAN WHO NEVER WAS WILLING TO WORK HARD BIG MAMMYS BOY !!!!!!!

  4. I like the guy as a person–seems nice enough. But he's entirely too inconsistent for us. Sure, he has an odd scorcher or two, but having to wait three months between them is too much of a burden. We should sell him to a club where he can get the first team action he wants.
