Photo: Classic Spurs kit design is now being worn by South American side

Tottenham Hotspur’s 1985-1987 home shirt which was made by former kit supplier Hummel is certainly in the eyes of many fans, one of the most beautiful kits we have ever had.

The strip was worn by the likes of Chris Waddle, Glenn Hoddle, Ossie Ardiles and Gary Mabbutt.

Hummel have now released an almost identical version of the kit for Quilmes Atlético Club who play in the second division of the Argentine football league system.

The only major differences between the two kits is the removal of Holsten as the kit sponsor and features a navy trim to the neck and sleeves.

Somewhat unfortunately for Spurs fans, they are stuck with Nike’s uninspiring ‘template’ designs for the next 15 years (The Sun).
