It was a dramatic late win for Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium last night after battling back from a goal behind against Watford to take all three points.

For the second consecutive Premier League match, Spurs left it late to secure the win on what could have been disastrous given Manchester City and Chelsea’s inability to pick up any points in their respective matches against Newcastle United and Bournemouth.

One person who was delighted with the result was Harry Kane. The star striker took to Twitter following the 2-1 victory to post a Tweet in response to the official Spurs site’s final score announcement with the comment “Yes lads #COYS”.

The star striker is currently sidelined with ankle ligament damage which he sustained in the defeat to Manchester United earlier this month and is not expected to return to training until early March.

Spurs have been desperately missing Kane’s influence in attack in recent matches, but were boosted by the return of Heung-min Son against the Hornets.

Here’s what Kane had to say on Twitter.
