Heung-min Son has taken to Instagram to send a message to Tottenham Hotspur fans.

The striker hurt his right arm during the opening minutes of Spurs’ win over Aston Villa on Sunday and although the South Korean completed the game and scored twice, it was confirmed by the club later that he had actually fractured his right arm which requires surgery

He posted a photo of himself celebrating a goal in front of the North London faithful using the ‘story’ feature of Instagram which contained the caption ‘Miss you already. Thank you’.

Son’s influence was certainly missing during Wednesday night’s Champions League defeat to RB Leipzig.

Jose Mourinho is currently without both of his top goalscorers in Son and Harry Kane. The Portuguese has previously admitted that he is not counting on Son to return to action before the end of the current Premier League season (BBC).

Son has scored 16 goals in 32 appearances in all competitions for Spurs this season (transfermarkt).
