Tottenham Hotspur have suffered more than their fair share of any problems during the current campaign.

At key points of the season, Mauricio Pochettino has been without the services of the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Moussa Sissoko, Harry Winks and Eric Dier.

Winks has not featured since the first leg of the Champions League semi final against Ajax when he had to be replaced after 81 minutes of the 1-0 defeat.

The club confirmed on April 29th that the England international had undergone groin surgery which left some fans fearing that his season could be over.

However, the 23-year-old was spotted taking part in the first team training session at Hotspur Way earlier yesterday which represents a huge boost ahead of the Champions League final against Liverpool on June 1st.

Winks had formed a fantastic partnership with Moussa Sissoko in the heart of the Spurs midfield and would certainly be our first-choice pair to play in the middle of the park against Jurgen Klopp’s side.
