Kyle Walker took to Twitter following Manchester City’s victory against Tottenham Hotspur on a very warm afternoon at the Etihad Stadium.

Walker was named once again in Pep Guardiola’s starting line up for the Premier League fixture after also featuring in Wednesday night’s Champions League quarter final exit which came at the hands of his former side.

The right-back can consider himself very fortunate not to be on the receiving end of a penalty decision when he clearly handled the ball in the second half.

Walker was chasing down Dele Alli in the City penalty area when the Spurs player brought Toby Alderweireld’s chip under control on his chest and was about to pull the trigger when the defender clearly handed the ball only for appeals to be waved away by referee Michael Oliver.

It proved to be a huge decision for Spurs, who could not make the breakthrough and instead Phil Foden’s fifth-minute header was enough for a 1-0 win for the home side.
