Photo: Labour MP reveals when he hopes Spurs will move into their new stadium

Labour MP for Tottenham, David Lammy paid a visit to the new stadium earlier today and claimed that it is looking ready.

The 46-year-old who is also a Spurs fan posted a photo of himself in the west stand with the golden cockerel that sits above the single tier 17,500 capacity south stand plain to see above his head.

Lammy claimed that he hopes Tottenham will have moved into their new home by the end of March.

Last week, the club confirmed that at least four more upcoming fixtures will take place at Wembley Stadium which includes the Premier League matches against Watford, Newcastle United, Leicester City along with the Champions League first leg against Borussia Dortmund.

The stadium was due to open for the visit of Liverpool in the Premier League on September 15th of last year, but had to be delayed due to issues with critical safety systems, which have plagued the project ever since.
