Photo: Lord Sugar reveals what Spurs-related prayer he made in Jerusalem

Former Tottenham Hotspur chairman Lord Sugar has taken to Twitter to post a photo of what he prayed for on his trip to Jerusalem.

Sugar’s photo contained a note which read ‘Please can Spurs win the Champions League’. Placing notes in the Western Wall is a practice of placing slips of paper containing written prayers to God into the cracks of the Western Wall, a Jewish holy site in the old city of Jerusalem.

Tottenham booked their place in the final of the prestigious European competition with a dramatic comeback against Ajax, which saw Mauricio Pochettino’s side score three goals in the second half to progress on away goals where they will meet Liverpool.

Hopefully, Sugar’s prayer is answered and Spurs lift their first-ever Champions League title.
