The Tottenham Hotspur team sheet for today’s pre-season friendly against Inter Milan is showing one notable omission.
Dele Alli is not named in either the starting line up or among the substitutes for the final game before the season begins next Saturday when Aston Villa are the visitors in the Premier League.
Also missing from today’s squad are Serge Aurier, Victor Wanyama, Eric Dier and Juan Foyth.
Aurier recently underwent hand surgery, while Wanyma reported discomfort in his knee last Monday (Spurs official). Foyth was stretchered off the field with an ankle injury against Bayern Munich and Dier is yet to feature in pre-season after undergoing a medical procedure last month (Spurs official).
Hopefully, Dele’s absence is just precautionary and is nothing more serious.
