Anyone who takes a keen interest in the academy set up at Tottenham Hotspur would have heard about the impressive season which Jack Roles has had at the club.
It is a huge boost for the club to tie down one of their brightest young talents to a new contract with his current deal set to expire this summer.
Roles took to Instagram yesterday to express his delight at penning a new deal whilst also stating that he’s looking forward to next season. However, just hours later he had removed the post; presumably at the instruction of the club.
Roles scored 11 goals and provided six assists in all competitions this season and surely the next step in his progression would be a loan spell at a Championship club to get regular first-team football under his belt.
