Photo: Summer Spurs signing spotted training with academy side

While Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke hit the headlines just over a week ago when they completed their respective transfers to Tottenham Hotspur, there was an arrival at the club before the duo had put pen to paper.

17-year-old Kion Etete was the club’s first signing of the summer when he made a move said to be worth around £200,000 from League Two outfit Notts County (Nottingham Post).

The striker, who made five first-team appearances for the League Two side last season was spotted yesterday training at Hotspur Way with Tottenham’s second year academy players.

Spurs Web Opinion:

After Spurs decided to pay a six-figure fee for the striker, the hard work now starts for Etete to start scoring goals for the academy side at Spurs before he has any chance of playing first team football once more.
