Anyone who watches Tottenham Hotspur on a regular basis will know just how much of an infectious character that Heung-min Son is around his team mates.
Following the 3-0 win against Borussia Dortmund last night, the South Korean went over to Man of the Match Jan Vertonghen on the Wembley pitch and recreated his ‘Super Jan’ celebration in honour of the Belgian.
Vertonghen was in the form of his life after slotting in at left wing back following the unavailability of Danny Rose and Ben Davies. The 31-year-old provided the assist for Son’s opener and got in on the goalscoring act himself when he got on the end of Serge Aurier’s cross to double the lead.
A memorable European night was complete when Fernando Llorente headed in a late third to put Spurs in the driving seat ahead of the second leg in Germany.
