Tottenham Hotspur youngster Dennis Cirkin has taken to Snapchat to post a photo of himself wearing a protective boost on his left foot.
The photo is accompanied by a caption of ‘Back to square 1 again’ along with a frustrated face Emoji which suggests that the 18-year-old has suffered a frustrating injury.
The full-back signed his first professional contract with the club in November of last year after being promoted to by Jose Mourinho to train with the first team (Football.London).
The injury comes as a blow to the academy graduate who was named on the bench by the Portuguese for the FA Cup replay against Middlesbrough along with the match against Southampton in the following round.
