Photo: Spurs star spotted sporting ice-pack after West Brom win

Gareth Bale was pictured with an ice pack strapped on his right ankle after coming off during Tottenham Hotspur’s 1-0 win at West Bromwich Albion this afternoon.

The Welshman was named in Jose Mourinho’s starting eleven in the Premier League for the first time since his return to the club in the summer when he linked up in an attacking axis including Harry Kane and Heung-min Son.

Bale featured for 78 minutes of the clash at The Hawthorns before being replaced by Lucas Moura.

The 31-year-old is due to join up with Wales ahead of their friendly against the United States of America and UEFA Nations League double-header where they are set to face the Republic of Ireland and Finland.

Wales are already without captain Aaron Ramsey who was withdrawn due to a thigh problem (The Sun).

Bale was spotted pointing to his ankle after coming off the field of play before a member of the medical staff applied the ice pack.
