Tottenham Hotspur’s growing injury problems saw Mauricio Pochettino make a number of changes for yesterday’s Premier League fixture against Huddersfield Town.
With the likes of Kyle Walker-Peters, Juan Foyth and Victor Wanyama all earning a rare start during the 4-0 win, there was one shirt hanging up in the Spurs dressing room which took many supporters by surprise.
Academy midfielder Jamie Bowden was included in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad for the visit of the Terriers to the new Spurs stadium, but did not make it into the match day sixteen.
Despite the fact he did not feature, it is still an experience which the 17-year-old is unlikely to forget.
