Photo: West Ham tweet gives Spurs fans the perfect ammunition to poke fun at rivals

West Ham United’s social media team have a history of posting Tweets without fully thinking through the potential consequences.

Ahead of their recent game against Cardiff City in the Welsh capital, they posted a graphic showing the distance travelled from London to Cardiff along with a plane icon – just weeks after striker Emiliano Sala had tragically died in a plane crash forcing the West Ham admins to delete the Tweet due to the foolish oversight.

The Hammers have now opened themselves up to pelters after posting a photo of Declan Rice as a youngster alongside Harry Kane, along with a photo of the midfielder alongside the Spurs striker after he played alongside the England captain in the 5-1 win against Montenegro last night.

The photos were accompanied with the caption ‘Dreams do come true’. Which have given Spurs fans the perfect ammunition to poke fun at their London rivals.
