Dortmund striker dismisses Spurs move

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a whole raft of strikers over the past couple of months and it looks like the speculation surrounding one is at and end.

Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang says he is staying at the club despite speculation that he will move.

Aubameyang had been tipped with a move away from the Bundesliga outfit following the departure of Jurgen Klopp, but has insisted he will be staying despite the speculation of a £30million move to Spurs or Arsenal.

Instead, we are being tipped by the Express to sign West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino for £15million within the next 48 hours.

Speaking after scoring in Dortmund’s friendly win against Juventus yesterday, he said: “You can take it for granted that I am not going to waste any time thinking about giving up how happy I am at Borussia, in the city of Dortmund and with this team,” he said.

“Dortmund have won the title twice in the last five years, we reached a Champions League final and had Real Madrid on the brink of elimination in the group stage when they went on to win it.

“If I didn’t believe that I could win titles with Dortmund, then I wouldn’t be here.”
