Should have come out quickly off his line for City's goal, but seemed nervous to after the PSV mistake. Made some decent saves across the 90 minutes though.

Tottenham Hotspur suffered a frustrating loss against Manchester City yesterday evening on a cold night at the national stadium.

The Premier League title holders inched the game by one goal to nil, despite Spurs’ best efforts.

In truth, the game had a lot more than one goal in it, with both sides missing chances. Erik Lamela squandered Tottenham’s best chance with twelve minutes to go, after being played in by substitute Dele Alli and with the goal gaping he managed to fire it over the bar. Some will say that the pitch played its part with a couple of bobbles before the ball reached his foot, but he really should have buried that chance.
