Tottenham’s revenge mission against Leicester ended in disappointment as Ahmed Musa earned the Premier League champions a 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane.

Leicester beat Spurs to the title last season and they frustrated Mauricio Pochettino’s men again, Musa’s second-half equaliser cancelling out Vincent Janssen’s first Premier League goal from the penalty spot.

Hugo Lloris (capt): Solid enough showing without too many tests. 7 (out of 10)

Kyle Walker: Kept his shape and offered a constant attacking outlet. 7Jan Vertonghen: Bested in the air several times but did not drop any clangers. 8

Eric Dier: Composed on the ball and solid at the back too. 7

Danny Rose: Kept Riyad Mahrez quiet on the flank and attacked with purpose. 8

Victor Wanyama: Mistake gifted Leicester the break that led to Ahmed Musa’s goal. 5

Mousa Dembele: Kept his shape but had little front-foot impact. 6

Dele Alli: Unable to boss the game in the way he so obviously craves. 6

Christian Eriksen: Very quiet showing from one of Spurs’ top attacking talents. 5

Son Heung-min: Unable to impose himself on proceedings. 6

Vincent Janssen: Took his penalty well once again, linked play solidly. 7

Substitutes:

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou (for Alli, 82 mins): Threatened on the break without any tangible end-product. 7

Harry Winks (for Wanyama, 86 mins): Looked lively on the ball in a late cameo. 6

  1. a game i was screaming in frustrations! practically , we tracying to tick tact toe the 10 players in thier box and makes no sense!Corners barely surpass the first man! And we satrt subsitues at 80min mark?? How strange is that !
We deserve 5 for all because it is a home game and we lost our fangs!

  2. Tip Tap Toe to many times do they try to walk the ball in to the net corners all ways wasted, certainly need showing practice it's always at the goal keeper or hitting cross bar.
i have never heard of any team winning the league by playing for a draw in every game, Poch so called laughing at signing Argentina Man City center forward in January window Boy could we do with some one like him
Come on Spurs Show your supports you can score goals, and not just from 12 yards
