Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to reply to a Tweet from former assistant manager Jesus Perez.
The Spaniard was a key part of Mauricio Pochettino’s backroom staff in North London and helped to transform the club’s fortunes on the field while the former Southampton boss was in charge.
After a poor start to the season which saw the club drop to the unfamiliar position of fourteenth in the Premier League along with suffering humiliation in cup competitions at both ends of the footballing spectrum at the hands of Bayern Munich and Colchester United respectively, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy took the decision to part with Pochettino and his team.
Following the decision in November, Perez posted on Twitter to send a message to Spurs supporters after his time in the capital came to an end.
He is still held in high regard by many of the North London faithful who took the opportunity to remind him after he posted a photo of himself during his time at Spurs to reveal that he is missing football.
Here are how some Spurs fans reacted.

Just come back for pre-season. We’ll carry on as if nothing happened and say no more about it.
