However, instead of linking the likes of Harry Kane, Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen with moves away from the club, The Sun are instead reporting that we are interested in a double raid on Watford for Richarlison and Abdoulaye Doucoure.
Richarlison has a bright start to his Watford career, but had failed to show his form on a consistent basis. His talent his there for all to see and the striker is valued at £30million by the Hornets.
Doucoure is in the Dembele mould and has been one of the most impressive players in he Premier League this season. Watford paid Rennes just £4.5million for his services in 2016 and spent a couple of seasons on loan at Spanish side Granada.
Both players wage demands would comfortably fit within the current structure at Spurs.
