Tottenham Hotspur will do battle with Manchester City across two competitions in the space of just four days.
Mauricio Pochettino’s squad will fly from London to Manchester this morning prior to them training at the Etihad Stadium this evening as part of their preparations for tomorrow’s Champions League quarter final second leg.
On Saturday lunchtime the two sides will once again face off, this time in the Premier League. However, despite the short turnaround between both matches, Pochettino has made the decision for the squad to return to the capital following tomorrow night’s match rather than stay in Manchester to prepare for the league fixture at the weekend.
Spurs will train at Hotspur Way on Friday ahead of their second fixture against Pep Guardiola’s side, who in contrast decided to stay in London after their FA Cup semi-final win to ready themselves for the match at the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium three days later.
