Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino had retained just two players who started the midweek Capital One Cup semi-final win over Sheffield United, but offered no excuses for the defeat against Leicester City at the Lane.

The Foxes had been trailing to a penalty from Andros Townsend and levelled with seven minutes left when Leonardo Ulloa swept the ball into the bottom corner.

There was then late drama in stoppage time when Vorm allowed a scuffed shot from Jeff Schlupp to squirm over the line.

Pochettino said: “This (rotation) is our way since the beginning of our season, and I do not think this is a reason to justify the result.

“During the game we played well, but you need to kill the game.

“We created chances, but also gave Leicester the chance to be alive.

“We are out of the FA Cup, and for that I am very disappointed.”

  1. Very disappointed. Hmmm.

Try being a fan MoPo, watching turgid boring football played by over paid, over hyped, under achieving, under performing useless footballers. forever messing around with the team, picking gormless one trick pony most boring and predictable Townsend, No effort can't be arsed money pinching disgraceful attitude vide captain Adebayor, Kaboom and bust, Capooh, Fazioh no, lame Ella, vlad the imposter. we are so average.

Does Baldini and Levy actually sit and watch the games, surely they must see what everyone else can see? The players we have bought are dreadful, the attitude is appalling and the football is dire.

Teams got knocked out today, teams who should have easily won and gone through. Regardless of other results, the attitude and desire to win should be there, go out to win games, put some effort in.

It's a great shame, I know everyone will say transition, support the team, blah blah blah, I am really sadly getting to the end of my love of football. Lining these wasters pockets on a weekly basis who give so little back. Did I dream that we beat Chelsea with attacking football? We have gone back to let's bore the opposition and fans with our going no where football.

Sorry Chaps for a bleak and miserable assessment, just a very bored and disillusioned supporter. I would rather MoPo put the kids in than see Townsend, Adebayor and some of the others ever play for us again.
