There has been some fantastic news this afternoon after Glenn Hoddle was moved out of intensive care.
According to The Daily Mail, the Tottenham legend is believed to be awake, sitting up in bed and talking to members of his family.
Hoddle underwent surgery over the weekend and had three stents inserted after suffering a heart attack.
The former midfielder suffered the heart attack while appearing on BT Sport’s Saturday morning show where he was even given a birthday cake to celebrate his 61st birthday before things turned for the worse.
Thankfully, the fast thinking of BT Sport sound supervisor Simon Daniels performed the kiss of life and used a defibrillator to save Hoddle’s life.
He was subsequently airlifted to hospital where he underwent the surgery and is now recovering.
