Predicted XI: Who Poch should pick for Spurs against Crystal Palace

Tottenham Hotspur will this evening begin a new era when they play their first competitive fixture at their brand new 62,062 capacity seater stadium when Crystal Palace make the journey from south London.

While fans are excited at the prospect of watching their side at their new home, it couldn’t come at a worse time from a recent form perspective.

Pochettino has already confirmed that he will keep faith with club captain Hugo Lloris, despite his goalkeeping gaffe that cost his side a valuable point against Liverpool at the weekend.

Despite Harry Winks having missed recent action due to a groin injury, we would like to see him back in the starting eleven for the occasion, as a boyhood Spurs fan and someone who has come through the ranks.

This is who we feel Mauricio Pochettino should start for the inaugural match.

Alderweireld Vertonghen

Trippier                                        Rose

Sissoko Winks

Dele   Eriksen   Son

  1. I’m glad Son is playing, I personally think he deserves to be picked every game. Good luck every one at Spurs tonight. Forget the recent games and go for it. Spurs are HOME at last!
